Oklahoma — FirstLine Intelligence Systems today announced two major platform initiatives currently in active development for Narrative AI: full offline functionality and a dedicated mobile application for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

As Narrative AI continues to expand its reach to law enforcement agencies across the country, the development team has identified two of the most requested capabilities from officers in the field — the ability to work without an internet connection, and a purpose-built mobile experience available directly from their device’s app store.

Offline Mode: Built for the Field

Officers frequently work in environments where reliable internet connectivity is limited or unavailable — rural patrol areas, remote incident scenes, or buildings with poor signal coverage. The current web-based platform requires an active connection to process and generate reports.

FirstLine Intelligence Systems is actively developing an offline mode for Narrative AI that will allow officers to dictate and capture incident details without any internet access. Reports will be queued locally on the device and automatically synchronized to the agency’s system the moment connectivity is restored — with no data loss and no additional steps required from the officer.

App Store Launch: A Native Mobile Experience

In parallel with offline development, FirstLine Intelligence Systems is building a native mobile application for both iOS and Android. The Narrative AI mobile app will be available for download directly from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, making it easier than ever for agencies to deploy the platform to their officers without IT-managed installations or device enrollment programs.

The mobile app will include all core Narrative AI functionality — voice dictation, AI-generated report drafts, officer review and editing, and RMS export — optimized for a smartphone interface designed for use in and around a patrol vehicle.

Both the offline capability and the mobile application are currently in active development. FirstLine Intelligence Systems anticipates sharing further timeline details with pilot agencies and the law enforcement community in the coming months.
