FirstLine Intelligence Systems Enters Final Phase of Development on FirstLine FTO

OKLAHOMA — FirstLine Intelligence Systems announced today that FirstLine FTO, its field training management platform for law enforcement agencies, has entered the final phase of development. The remaining work covers hardening, agency onboarding, and the documentation agencies require for vendor and security review.

FirstLine FTO brings a department’s entire field training program into one system. Field training officers record Daily Observation Reports each shift — dictated or written — in a consistent structure. Trainees are scored against standardized evaluation guidelines, and that performance is tracked across the length of the program rather than shift by shift in isolation.

Coordinators and command staff see the program as a whole: FTO assignments and rotations, trainees who need remediation, and the risk that builds when a problem goes unaddressed. Records export to PDF, and every action is written to an audit log.

Why field training

Field training is where a department’s liability concentrates and where its documentation is often weakest. Many agencies still run the program on paper DORs, spreadsheets, and the institutional memory of whoever has been doing it longest. When a trainee decision is later questioned, the record has to hold up.

FirstLine FTO is built so that record exists by default, in the same structure, for every trainee and every shift.

FirstLine FTO is built to the same standards as the company’s incident reporting platform: a CJIS-aligned security posture, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, and agency data scoping enforced on the server. The agency owns its records.

FirstLine has not announced a general availability date. Agencies interested in early access can contact the company directly to be included as the platform moves out of final development.
